Paris Fashion Week with Bella Zofia, Izabela Zofia Switon-Kulinska.

Model, Influencer and Fashion a Week Insider Bella is sharing her insights with us. Izabela, known as Bella Zofia is taking us on a fashion journey in Paris while being 7 months pregnant and showing that the impossible is possible. Let's see what she has to say.

  1. How did you enjoy PFW and what was your favourite part of this experience?
Izabela: It was lovely to join my friends and share PFW moments with them. This FW was also very special for me because I was 7 months pregnant, and I wanted to show other women that pregnant women can still be fashionable and don’t miss fashion month. My favourite moment of PFW SS23 for me was attending fashion shows together with my girlfriends and sharing this excitement with them. I loved also slow mornings where I could sip coffee in the local bistro and plan my day and content, before the business of Paris Fashion Week.

  2. Which designs were you wearing and what can you tell us about them?
Izabela: I was very excited to wear designs from brands that I admire and believe in their philosophy. Designs that made me feel good and look my best, even being pregnant. Some designers I was wearing were: the wonderful SOL ANGELANN, creator of dresses embroidered with Swarovski crystals. Talented Parisian designer NICOLAS BESSON, who creates more sexy styles, but they also fitted my growing belly perfectly. Also, GEMY MAALOUF represented by GIORGIA VIOLA, a luxury Parisian showroom that dresses celebrities and models. For more casual moments and presentations, I chose Millé Milano brand which is one of my favourite ones for many years. When it comes to accessories, I chose Thalié Paris for the handbags. When it comes to jewellery and watches I brought designs from Geneva, it was Charriol, with beautiful watches and jewellery and Natkina, also a Geneva-based brand that creates stunning jewellery pieces.

  3. Tell us some behind the scenes secrets about the photo shoot at Ritz Paris.
Izabela: It was a special project created between me and my 2 friends: Doli Grace and Marina von Lison. We created a full-day fashion show experience for our communities. We attended a few fashion shows, had a photo shoot at the Place Vendôme, and enjoyed time together. Some of the highlights were meeting my favourite actress Amber Valetta and shooting for L'Officiel Monaco.

  4. What has been the highlight of your career thus far?
Izabela: Some of the highlights in my career were working with Porsche for their exclusive calendar and being the face of Sotheby's campaign and being a business owner of my company Défilé Agency for 5 years now.

  5. What is your favourite part of being a fashion influencer and working in the fashion/ luxury industry?
Izabela: My favourite part is always to inspire my audience with a look I created, presenting a new brand or a trend. I also love attending fashion weeks and working with big fashion/ luxury industry players.
  6. What is your number one tip for a becoming fashion influencer?
Izabela: The most important tip from me is to find your own voice and style and always remain authentic to yourself.
  7. How do you define style?
For me, style is always about timeless elegance. The way a woman wears her clothing is so essential. Clothes don't have to be expensive, but neat and of good quality. I personally love timeless clothing with a dose of extravagance.
